Flag raising ceremony
An AMKsian has expressed his/her thought that the school should keep the school community informed of both competition victories as well as defeats.The AMKsian mentioned very well that we should consider announcing defeats in the flag raising ceremony because AMKsians have a right to know what is going in the school and that we should learn to handle failures as they are part of learning. While these are good reasons to include news on defeats in the morning flag-raising, we need to balance against it with the need to keep our flag-raising ceremony short.I would like to invite AMKsians to contribute their ideas on how we can acknowledge and recognise the efforts of AMKsians when they suffer defeats against other teams using the flag-raising ceremony and other means.
